Stepping through recordings can be viewed from two differnt points. On the one hand, the actual stepping through a recording, on the other hand, selecting a recording from the database of recordings available. Finding a passage in a two hour meeting recording could be hard, but the Vidicode Recording solution has a unique feature, which makes it quick and easy to find any passage. During recording bookmarks can be placed. When playing the recording the recorder will step through the bookmarks. This option does however require Vidicode software, as standard Windows media players do not support bookmarks. This optional software for Windows PC’s primary function is to present the contents of up to four recorders as a searchable database. The database can be queried with various search criteria.
